Description

Lathe machines built by Yogi Machine Tools turn and machine medium sized parts with high precision. The spindle sits level with the bed - the workpiece stays steady plus the tool keeps its line. Parts up to 1000 mm across fit on the chuck - the gap above the bed clears up to 1000 mm as well, letting larger blanks pass without hitting the frame. Once the operator sets the feed and speed, the carriage moves on its own, repeating each cut with the same depth but also spacing. The cast iron bed and hardened ways resist wear, giving the machine a long working life. Workshops as well as plants that need exact, repeatable turning use this line for batches of shafts, flanges and pulleys.
