Description

The Industrial Lathe Machine has been purpose-built to fulfill the requirements of cutting, turning, and machining heavy-duty workpieces (medium and/or large) in the industrial sectors. Turning diameters can range from zero to five hundred millimetres (500 mm) up to two thousand five hundred millimetres (2,500 mm). Additionally, turning speeds can range from zero to five hundred revolutions per minute (500 RPM) up to four thousand (4,000 RPM). The machine also has an additional capability to machine from centre to centre (from the centre of the spindle) and from shovel to shovel (at both ends) with a maximum swing over bed of zero to one thousand five hundred millimetres (1,500 mm). The machine is designed for greater durability and stability due to its floor-mounted design, allowing for heavier operations than most traditional lathes. The machine operates in a semi-automatic mode, reducing the amount of manual labour required for precision work, allowing for greater accuracy and repeatability of the completed piece(s). This is a product of India, so there is assurance that it will meet the standards for industrial workshop applications with regard to reliability and consistency in all areas of use.
