Description

The 4.5 Feet Medium Duty Lathe Machine shapes metal with high accuracy in small and medium workshops. The bed measures 4.5 feet long plus holds workpieces up to 500 mm between the centers. The center stands 215 mm above the bed - the hollow spindle admits 50 mm bar stock. Those dimensions keep the work steady and the cuts true. A hand wheel moves the carriage but also cross slide - the operator directs each cut without software. YOGI built the machine from graded cast iron and hardened steel then ground the slideways to close limits. The whole unit needs little floor space - a bench or a small corner suffices.
